A’lan Abruzzo (he/him)

loves dancing. A'lan loves music. He considers DJing for fusion a privilege, joy and self-expression. His fusion DJ acumen originated from his early training at swing/blues venues and grew as he became the first music coordinator at Shades in San Francisco. He broke onto the national fusion scene at the Portland Fusion Exchange and since then he's played at SDFX, LVFX, SFFX, DFX, SFFX, MFX, Recess, Seattle Fusion Festival, Albuquerque Fusion Experiment, City in Motion, Emerald City Blues, Mile High Blues, and BAmF, and Hi-Fi. He's looking forward to sharing his love sounds with you and move you into fusion bliss..

Emory Roehrkasse (she/they)

Emory first embarked on their partner dance journey in 2012, and since then they have taught, emceed, competed, organized, DJed, and performed as a lead and follow in Lindy Hop, Blues, Ballroom, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, and Fusion dance, all locally and many nationally.  They co-founded their university swing dance club in 2014, co-founded Fort Collins Swing Dance in 2018, and are now an influential member of the state-wide Colorado dance scene, working in multiple capacities with 15 different Colorado partner dance organizations since their arrival in 2016. They are professionally certified in 13 Ballroom dances through Fred Astaire Dance Studios, and are studying numerous other styles in addition to their ten years of Lindy Hop, Blues, and Fusion. Everyone deserves unbridled self-expression in the present moment, and Emory does all of this so all folk they encounter can look and feel great while clowning around, solo or partnered. Save Emory a dance, you’ll be glad you did!

Jalen Williams (he/him)

started dancing in late 2018. Found a home in the blues scene, traveled competed danced all over the US over the next few years. Then I found fusion and fell in love with a space to play black music. I always wanted a club environment with partner dancing and that's what I'm trying to build when I Djay. I want yall to shake ya ass but watch yourself lol. Let's have fun and build community together.

Philip Bell (he/him)

You may remember him from house parties up and down the west coast, CityInMotion, DanceOutLoud, Bay Area micro Fusion, Melting Pot, Shades, Twilight Blues, Firehouse5, Mission Fusion, South Bay Fusion, East Bay Fusion, Blues Liberation Front, Tiny Dancers, Angel City Fusion, First Friday Fusion, Queen Bee’s, Big Bad Blues, Dance Gathering.

Tony Sciscio (he/him)

Tony (He/Him) has spent a decade in the fusion scene traveling across the country (mainly in California and now in Seattle) to hear, record, and DJ moments of musical magic (MoMM). He tends to play variety and sometimes hits themes, but in every set you can almost always expect moments for solidarity, familiarity collaborative chaos (trolling), and throwdowns.
